Crested Cream Legbar hatching eggs are ideal for farmers and poultry enthusiasts interested in raising their own blue egg laying birds. Cream Legbars are great layers and are very docile. Color: Eggs are a beautiful pastel blue. Adult birds are a combination of gold, gray, and brown with bronze breast with males especially showing the barred pattern in their plumage.
The Crested Cream Legbar is one of the few truly auto-sexing breeds of chickens. This means that males and females can be distinguished from each other as soon as they hatch, and that the offspring from these birds will reproduce true to breed. This is different from sex-link hybrids which can also be sexed at birth, but require stock from multiple breeds to produce. Female Legbar chicks will have "chipmunk stripes," and the males will have a yellow to white spot on the tops of their heads.
Eggs are collected daily, checked for any hairline cracks, and are shipped unwashed and as fresh as possible. We maintain a ratio of six hens to one rooster within our flock to ensure good fertility, which we check regularly as we hatch chicks on-site for local pickup.
Eggs are individually wrapped in bubble wrap and put into a carton which is then placed in packing materials inside the shipping box.

Shipped eggs often travel across multiple states in a truck. A wide variety of things can happen along the way, all of which are beyond our control.
USPS can sometimes take longer than anticipated. We allow up to 10 days in transit. If your eggs are in transit longer than 10 days, you may contact us and we will send you a fresh set. If your eggs are delivered within 10 days we consider this to be normal and acceptable.We ship eggs on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday so eggs don't sit in the post office over the weekend.We ship eggs through USPS and sent Priority Mail. All packages are insured through the United States postal service.
